Is network compression possible in a copy job?

Juan Pablo Lorier-2
I have a replication among two datacenters and I use a copy job to copy
all backups from datacenter A to B. The thing is that BW is getting
short and I want to know if is possible to compress the data sent by the
network to the second storage daemon.
Regards

Hi Juan

Are you using compression of the data during the backup?
If yes then even if possible a compression on the network will not do
much good and I believe the gain would be insignificant and you could
even lose a bit on performance.

Hello,

The Enterprise version compresses network traffic, but this feature is
not yet in the community version.

Best regards,
Kern
