TLS patch for wildcard certificates

Jim Raney
Hello,

I recently had a need to use a wildcard certificate for a client setup
and ran into issues using it.  I've attached a patch with some
modifcations I made to the 7.0.4 lib/tls.c source. I'm not really a C
programmer so it'd be great if someone else could run with it and make a
patch that could be added to Bacula.

Re: TLS patch for wildcard certificates

Kern Sibbald
Hello Jim,

This is something that I have wanted to fix for quite some time, and I started looking at it several times, but always got pulled off on "more important" projects.  For not being a C programmer, this seems pretty reasonable :-)

I'm going to release version 7.0.5 next week, and I would be happy to put your patch into it, but what I need is for you to sign the FLA, which you can do at:

   http://old.bacula.org/en/FLA-bacula.en.pdf

Please note, that the link on the current site does not work, so please use the one above.  Once you sign it, I prefer to receive it by post, but if it is possible to fax it or scan it and email it to me before sending it in the post, I can proceed with the integration right way.

My fax number is:  +41 21 728 3459

Best regards,
Kern
